Our tour group visits a scenic area in Guizhou province - the rocks were labeled from Jan 1 to Dec 31.

The water from this underground river came up and ran in turbulence like this for a hunred metres before disappearing again. Is this our next kayaking challenge?
Dongxing - a view along the river that forms the border with Vietnam.
Transport in Dongxing.

Park in Quanzhou near Xiamen with our friends Mimi and Stephen (behind the camera) and their baby Liam.
Farm and resort-in-progress - Stephen and Mimi's family business.
A view of Prague
A shop window selling glassware in Prague. Very luxurious and expensive Bohemia crystal.
The countryside between Prague centre and the dormitory suburbs surrounding it. Because of it's UNICEF cultural heritage classification, there are no modern buildings (especially high-rise buildings) in the city centre, so most people live at some distance.
The Old Danube - now a pleasure lake - in Vienna.
Austria near Salzburg - exactly as one expects it to look.
A view over Salzburg from the north hill to the south hill. The mountain in the background with the antenna is the one we climbed.

View over Perugia's rooftops. This is the medieval walled city, no modern buildings at all.
Lake Trasimeno near where our boat landed after crossing. This is also an ancient walled city but the inhabitants clearly enjoy modern relaxation.
The view from our farm outside Perugia.
The medieval festival in Horsens near Aarhus in Denmark. Lots of activities and even more food. We drank mead - much nicer than beer! Lots of medieval costumes among the shopkeepers and also the visitors.

A gargoyle on the theatre in Aarhus. Definitely would scare away those evil spirits.

Helsinki from the harbour. It's very low-lying but is rising up from the sea at the rate of 3cm every hundred years.
